Job Summary
Travel Med Surg RN delivers comprehensive patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units for a 13-week travel assignment. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering prescribed medications and treatments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing patients for procedures, monitoring telemetry data, documenting in the medical record, ensuring infection control and safety, facilitating discharge planning, and advocating for patient needs. Requires strong clinical skills in med-surg and telemetry nursing, critical thinking, excellent communication, and adherence to professional standards. Certification requirements include an active RN license and BLS; NIHSS and ACLS certifications are preferred. Required Qualifications
- One year of Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license (state regulations)
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
