Job Summary
Assess patient health conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry data, and administer prescribed medications in adherence to nursing standards. Conduct comprehensive assessments, document changes, and prepare patients for diagnostic procedures while ensuring infection control practices are strictly followed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans, facilitate discharge planning, and advocate for patient needs and preferences. Manage multiple patients efficiently based on acuity and clinical needs, maintaining a safe environment for those recovering from medical conditions or surgical procedures.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Critical thinking

- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
