Job Summary

Assess patient health conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry data, and administer prescribed medications in adherence to nursing standards. Conduct comprehensive assessments, document changes, and prepare patients for diagnostic procedures while maintaining infection control practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create care plans, manage multiple patients based on acuity, and facilitate discharge planning. Ensure patient safety through strict adherence to hospital protocols and advocacy for individualized needs. This 13-week travel assignment in York, Maine requires one year of Med Surg RN experience and current BLS certification.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
  • Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
  • Critical thinking

  • The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
