Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive medical-surgical and telemetry patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing cardiac telemetry data. Perform daily assessments, document care outcomes, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans. Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, facilitate discharge planning, and ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols. Maintain efficient patient management under pressure while advocating for patient needs and preferences.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
