Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive medical-surgical and telemetry patient care, including administering medications, performing assessments, and monitoring cardiac data. Explain procedures to patients and families, prepare individuals for diagnostic tests, and facilitate discharge planning with external resources. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create care plans, maintain infection control protocols, and document vital signs and treatment outcomes. Manage multiple patients by prioritizing based on acuity while adhering to hospital safety and regulatory standards. One year of recent Med Surg RN experience and a valid RN license are required, with BLS certification mandatory and NIHSS or ACLS preferred. This 13-week travel assignment supports Fusion Medical Staffing's mission to improve patient lives through dedicated clinical support.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
