Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive medical-surgical and telemetry patient care, including administering medications, monitoring cardiac data, and performing daily assessments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage diverse patient needs, prepare patients for procedures, and facilitate discharge planning. Maintain accurate documentation of vital signs, treatments, and care outcomes while adhering to strict infection control protocols. Manage multiple patients efficiently based on acuity and clinical priorities, ensuring a safe environment for recovery.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
