Travel Med Surg Charge Nurse

Assist the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management while supervising, directing, and evaluating team members. Ensure effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources to maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards. Provide direct patient care as needed within scope of practice, monitor patient care plans, and direct necessary adjustments. Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes and support a safe, high-quality, care environment. Oversee staff performance and unit operations during assigned shifts. Requires one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg, current RN license, and active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Available for 12-week assignments in Lewiston, Maine, with days and nights shifts.
