Job Summary
Implement physician orders and perform diagnostic imaging procedures to screen and treat breast disease. Position patients accurately, monitor image quality for diagnostic precision, and maintain medical equipment for optimal safety. Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams while following hospital policies and utilizing proper PPE. Maintain high-quality imaging practices and provide compassionate care throughout the assignment.
Required Qualifications
- One year's experience as a Mammography Tech
- Current state license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC )
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
