Job Summary
The Mammography Technologist performs imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing breast disease, explains procedures to patients, positions patients, maintains imaging equipment, monitors image quality, and collaborates with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure safety and high-quality imaging for screenings and diagnostic workups. This is a 13-week travel assignment in New Orleans, LA, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits; requires a state license and BLS certification, with ARRT certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- One year's experience as a Mammography Tech
- Current state license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
