Job Summary
LTAC RN responsible for dispensing medications and managing critical care equipment (chest tubes, ventilators, wound vacs, IV drips, feeding tubes, central lines); monitor, evaluate, and adjust patient status; collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate and implement care plans; provide guidance and supervision to clinical support staff.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in good standing
- LTAC/LTAC RN experience preferred or relevant ICU/CCU experience
- ability to dispense medications and manage critical care equipment (ventilators, chest tubes, wound VACs, IV drips, feeding tubes, central lines)
- strong patient assessment, monitoring, and care planning skills
- excellent collaboration with healthcare team and supervision of clinical staff
