Job Summary
Provide bedside care to patients, assisting with personal hygiene, activities of daily living, wound care, and catheter management. Administer prescribed medications and treatments while documenting care and resident status accurately. Collaborate with RNs and healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans, educate families, and supervise CNAs. Recognize patient condition changes and respond to emergencies within the LPN scope of practice. This 8-week travel assignment in Dexter, Maine requires recent LPN experience, a valid state license, and BLS/CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an LPN
- Valid LPN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
