Job Summary
Assess patients, administer medications, and observe for adverse reactions while performing laboratory tests and therapeutic services. Educate patients and families on disease treatment plans, self-care, and follow-up care. Document provider encounters, transcribe patient orders, and complete charts by transcribing lab results, x-rays, and evaluations. Maintain constant alertness and safe manner during all duties. Day shift, Monday through Friday, 40 hours weekly. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Basic Life Support certification required. Located in O'Fallon, IL, within the Pediatrics department of SSM Health Medical Group.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Nurse Licensure Issued by Compact State
