Job Summary
Assess patient health, monitor for changes, and administer medications and treatments safely in a long-term care facility. Develop personalized care plans, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and educate residents and families on chronic conditions and medications. Document care progress, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with physicians and therapists to ensure comprehensive resident-centered care. Adhere to facility safety protocols and regulatory standards while working under pressure. One year of recent LTC RN experience and a valid state license are required, with ACLS preferred. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
