Job Summary
Assess resident health, monitor for changes, and administer medications and treatments safely in a long-term care setting. Develop personalized care plans, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and educate families on chronic condition management. Respond quickly to emergencies, document progress, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure coordinated care. Work under pressure with irregular schedules, adhering to infection control and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
