Job Summary
Assess resident health, monitor for changes, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with the patient care team. Administer medications and treatments safely, including wound care and IV therapy, while observing for reactions and reporting concerns. Supervise LPNs and CNAs, delegate appropriately, and educate residents and families on chronic condition management. Document care progress and respond quickly to emergencies by coordinating with physicians and medical teams. Adhere to facility safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
