Job Summary
Assess patient health, monitor for changes, and administer medications and treatments safely in a long-term care facility. Develop personalized care plans, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and educate residents and families on medications and chronic condition management. Respond quickly to emergencies, coordinate with physicians and therapists, and document care progress in compliance with facility protocols. This 5-week travel assignment in Gothenburg, Nebraska, requires a valid RN license, one year of recent LTC experience, and current BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
