Job Summary
Registered Nurse in a long-term care (LTC) facility for a 13-week travel assignment provides skilled nursing care, oversees patient care plans, administers treatments and medications, observes residents for changes in condition, collaborates with healthcare teams, supervises LPNs and CNAs, educates residents and families, documents care and progress, responds to emergencies, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role involves developing and updating personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the patient care team, and coordinating with physicians, therapists, and other professionals to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS Certification
- Other certifications may be required depending on facility requirements
