Job Summary
Conduct skilled nursing care for long-term care residents in Solon, Iowa, including assessing health, administering medications, and managing treatments like wound care and IV therapy. Develop personalized care plans, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and educate families on chronic condition management. Document resident progress, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure coordinated care. Maintain compliance with facility safety protocols and infection control guidelines while adhering to state regulations. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
