Job Summary
Assess resident health, monitor for changes, and take appropriate action to ensure well-being in a long-term care facility. Develop and implement personalized care plans, administer medications and treatments safely, and provide skilled procedures including wound care and IV therapy. Supervise LPNs and CNAs, educate residents and families on chronic conditions, and document care progress in a timely manner. Respond quickly to emergencies, coordinate with physicians and therapists, and adhere to infection control guidelines. This 12-week travel assignment in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and first-day insurance coverage.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)

- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
