Job Summary
Assess resident health, monitor for changes, and take appropriate action to ensure well-being in a long-term care setting. Develop and implement personalized care plans, administer medications and treatments safely, and provide skilled procedures including wound care and IV therapy. Supervise LPNs and CNAs, educate residents and families on chronic conditions, and document care progress accurately. Respond quickly to emergencies, coordinate with physicians and therapists, and adhere to facility safety and regulatory standards. One year of recent RN experience in long-term care required with valid state license, BLS, and ACLS preferred. 13-week travel assignment in Douglas, Wyoming with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
