Travel Logistics Coordinator - Human Services Program - Remote

Job Summary
Coordinate travel planning, routing, lodging, ground transportation, and field deployment sequencing for nationwide site visits and wellness observations. Optimize regional routing and trip batching to reduce costs while maintaining accurate, audit-ready travel records compliant with the Federal Travel Regulation. Monitor activity against authorized budgets, collect receipts and itineraries, and support invoice preparation and production reconciliation. Coordinate with dispatch, field operations, finance, and QA/QC to align travel with case assignments and contract requirements. Enter logistics data in designated systems and manage short-notice schedule changes. This role supports a federal human services program serving vulnerable youth, young adults, and families.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in travel coordination, logistics, dispatch, scheduling, program operations support, or similar work
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to pass and maintain a government security background investigation, including a favorable credit check
- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check after accepting a conditional offer
- Ability to complete required federal, client, and company training prior to assignment
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, operations, supply chain, or a related field
- Experience applying the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) and using government travel or expense systems
- Familiarity with travel booking, expense documentation, and detailed record keeping
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and scheduling/tracking tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to prepare accurate and timely documentation
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
