Job Summary
The Hospice Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing quality patient care and performing technical skilled care in patient’s homes, assisting home health aides, and managing prescriptions under RN supervision. Key responsibilities include observing, recording, and reporting patient care, performing special procedures, notifying the Patient Care Manager of any patient condition changes, and participating as an IDT team member. Candidates must have at least one year of nursing experience and must be licensed in the agency state of operation.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the agency state of operation
- At least one year of nursing experience
- Complete knowledge of technical skills required in the performance of nursing procedures
- Successful completion of on-site evaluations and competencies within ninety days of employment

- Understanding of the concepts of hospice care
- Ability to perform nursing procedures under supervision
