Job Summary
The Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients, working under the guidance of Registered Nurses and medical staff. Responsibilities include responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs within various facilities across Illinois. Candidates must hold an active LPN license in Illinois and have a minimum of one year of relevant work experience. CPR/BLS certification is required, and prior experience in corrections or travel nursing is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- Corrections experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
