Job Summary
Licensed Clinical Social Worker for acute care medical social work in Bethel, AK providing discharge planning, crisis intervention, and coordination of community resources. Work with multidisciplinary teams to support patients and families across the lifespan in a remote-rural hospital setting; includes potential float to other facilities. Requires MSW and LMSW in Alaska, at least 1 year hospital experience, strong documentation skills, and cross-cultural adaptability; bilingual English and Yup’ik preferred. Includes full-time contract, relocation assistance, housing provided, and travel opportunities within a travel-contractor framework.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited school of social work
- One year of experience in a hospital or health-care setting
- State of Alaska license at Master’s level (LMSW) required
- Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
- Valid Alaska state driver’s license required
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and electronic communication
