Job Summary

Process and analyze clinical laboratory specimens using analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges. Prepare patients for specimen collection via venipuncture, capillary methods, or urine and stool sampling. Review, verify, and report patient results while performing quality control, calibrations, and maintenance. Proficiency in clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, serology, urinalysis, and molecular testing is required. Roles include Lab Techs II through IV and Clinical Laboratory Scientists. Positions are full-time, 40 hours weekly, with durations of 13 weeks often extendable. Per diem covers travel, housing, meals, and incidentals. Multiple levels available across Montana locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a medical laboratory technician (MLT) program or equivalent training
  • 1–2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification as MLT (ASCP or AMT) preferred
  • Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
