Job Summary
Monitor patients throughout labor, track contractions, and assist with breathing techniques. Check cervical progression periodically, aid physicians with delivery instruments and pain medication administration, and ensure patient and room hygiene. Provide immediate newborn care and manage bodily fluids during and after birth. This 12-hour day shift requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and coping with a fast-paced environment. You need 2 years of acute care experience and ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications. TotalMed offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and comprehensive benefits for this 13-week assignment in Richmond, VA.

- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

- Must be available for 12 hour shifts
- Must be available for 36 hours per week
