Job Summary
Double Registered Ultrasound Technologist (Vascular) performs vascular and general ultrasound exams, prepares patients, documents results, and maintains patient comfort and safety throughout procedures. Requires ARDMS registries General Abdomen (RDMS ABD), Vascular Technology (RVT or RDMS Vascular), and OB/GYN (RDMS OB/GYN); current BLS; ability to work independently; experience with vascular, abdominal, small parts, and OB/GYN ultrasound; proficiency in vascular duplex imaging and Doppler waveform interpretation; willingness to undergo facility orientation and credentialing; hospital-based environment; 13-week travel assignment with flexible shifts; travel-clinician benefits and housing options available.
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS registries required: General Abdomen (RDMS ABD), Vascular Technology (RVT or RDMS Vascular), and OB/GYN (RDMS OB/GYN)
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work independently and perform exams without direct onsite supervision
- Experience performing vascular, abdominal, small parts, and OB/GYN ultrasound examinations
- Demonstrated proficiency with vascular duplex imaging, interpretation of Doppler waveforms, and vascular lab protocols
- Willingness to comply with facility orientation and credentialing processes
- Preferred: prior hospital-based experience
- Assignment Details: 13 week assignment
- Location: Kealakekua, HI in hospital setting
