Job Summary
Assess each patient's needs individually, collect relevant data such as temperature, blood pressure, and pain levels, and perform physician-prescribed treatments while communicating effectively with patients, families, and physicians. Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments for patients suffering from serious conditions including diabetes mellitus, electrolyte imbalances, renal failure, liver failure, gastrointestinal bleeds, blood disorders, cancer, sepsis, respiratory distress, or multi-system organ failure. Work a 3x12 days shift in the Intermediate Care Unit.
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate Care Unit RN
- Assess each patient's needs individually and collect relevant data, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pain levels, according to the facility's prescribed procedure
- Perform physician-prescribed treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians, being an advocate for the patient
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment of patients
- Shift: 3x12 Days
