Travel ICU RN provides intensive care to patients in hospital ICUs, evaluating conditions, administering treatments, and responding to life-threatening events. Responsibilities include evaluating and ordering diagnostic tests, administering intravenous fluids and medications, ensuring ventilators, monitors and other critical equipment function properly, and adhering to nursing standards and protocols for treatment. The role requires managing complex patient care in a high-acuity setting with a 3x12 variable shift.
