Job Summary
The ICU Registered Nurse provides comprehensive critical care in an ICU setting for a 13-week travel assignment, including assessment and monitoring of critically ill patients, operating and managing life-support equipment, administering advanced treatments, documenting care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes. Requires strong critical care skills, clinical judgment, and effective communication; duties include monitoring hemodynamics, educating patients and families, adhering to infection control, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Certifications required: RN license, BLS, ACLS; preferred CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS. Travel-specific details: travel ICU RN in Ashtabula, Ohio with competitive pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
