Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognize subtle changes in condition, and administer complex medications and treatments. Operate advanced life support equipment, interpret hemodynamic monitoring data, and accurately document all interventions to ensure continuity of care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and adhere to strict infection control protocols. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education while coping with irregular activity schedules and high-acuity environments.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Ability to remain in a stationary position
- Ability to move about
