Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognize subtle changes in condition, and administer complex medications per approved critical care techniques. Operate advanced life support equipment, interpret hemodynamic monitoring data including arterial lines and central venous pressure, and ensure patient safety in high-acuity environments. Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately to maintain continuity of care and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families on treatments and recovery expectations, and adhere to strict infection control protocols. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education and training.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Ability to remain in a stationary position
- Ability to move equipment (50-100lbs)
