Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, administer complex medications, and operate advanced life support equipment in a high-acuity ICU setting. Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring, accurately document interventions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures, adhere to strict infection control protocols, and provide education to patients and families. This 13-week travel assignment in LaGrange, Georgia, offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits for a registered nurse with one year of recent ICU experience.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally
- Must be able to maintain continuous concentration to detail
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull
- Must be able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
Desired Qualifications
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
- TNCC certification
- NIHSS certification
- Other certifications or licenses
