Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the intensive care unit, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in condition. Administer complex medications and operate advanced life support equipment while performing and interpreting hemodynamic monitoring. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and address both physical and emotional needs. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull

Desired Qualifications
