Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the intensive care unit, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in condition. Administer complex medications and operate advanced life-support equipment while interpreting hemodynamic monitoring data. Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and provide education to patients and families regarding treatments and recovery expectations. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education and adhere to strict infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking

- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
