Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, administer complex medications, and operate advanced life support equipment in a high-acuity San Diego ICU setting. Perform hemodynamic monitoring, document interventions, and provide education to patients and families while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures, adhere to infection control protocols, and engage in quality improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Must be able to present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally

Desired Qualifications
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
- TNCC certification
