Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in patient condition. Administer complex medications and treatments, operate advanced life support equipment, and perform hemodynamic monitoring including arterial lines and central venous pressure. Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records while communicating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care. Provide education to patients and families regarding treatments and recovery expectations. Adhere to infection control protocols, maintain proficiency in critical care procedures, and perform other duties as assigned within scope. One year of recent ICU experience required; valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications mandatory. 13-week travel assignment in Dayton, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Must be able to present a positive attitude and professionalism

Desired Qualifications
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
