Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in patient condition. Administer complex medications and treatments, operate advanced life support equipment, and interpret hemodynamic monitoring including arterial lines and central venous pressure. Document assessments and interventions accurately while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care. Provide education to patients and families regarding treatments and recovery expectations. Adhere to strict infection control protocols and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. This 13-week travel assignment in Sellersville, Pennsylvania requires one year of recent ICU experience, valid RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Must be able to present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Must have the ability to grasp

Desired Qualifications
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
