Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, administering complex medications and operating advanced life support equipment. Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines and central venous pressure, while accurately documenting all interventions. Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment and recovery expectations. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care and adhere to strict infection control protocols. Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity settings through continuous assessment and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)

Desired Qualifications
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
- TNCC certification
