Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in patient condition. Administer complex medications and treatments, operate life-support equipment, and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring including arterial lines and central venous pressure. Document all interventions and notify providers of status changes while ensuring patient safety and adhering to infection control protocols. Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment and recovery expectations. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care and engage in quality improvement initiatives. One year of recent ICU experience and valid RN license required. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
