Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, operating life-support equipment and administering complex medications per approved critical care techniques. Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines and central venous pressure, while accurately documenting all interventions in the medical record. Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment and treatments, ensuring adherence to strict infection control protocols and hospital safety guidelines. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care and address physical and emotional needs in high-acuity settings.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking

- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
