Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in condition. Administer complex medications and operate advanced life-support equipment in accordance with approved critical care techniques. Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines and central venous pressure. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately to ensure continuity of care. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Adhere to strict infection control protocols and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education. Provide education to patients and families regarding treatments and recovery expectations.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Ability to grasp
- Ability to perform fine manipulation
