Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the intensive care unit, recognizing subtle changes in condition and operating advanced life-support equipment. Administer complex medications and treatments while performing and interpreting hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines and central venous pressure. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards. Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment and recovery expectations. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and maintain strict infection control protocols. This 13-week travel assignment in Sellersville, Pennsylvania, requires one year of recent ICU experience and valid RN licensure.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking
