Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognize subtle changes in condition, and administer complex medications using approved critical care techniques. Operate advanced life support equipment, interpret hemodynamic monitoring data including arterial lines and central venous pressure, and accurately document all interventions to ensure regulatory compliance. Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment and recovery expectations while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Adhere to strict infection control protocols and engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. One year of recent ICU experience and valid RN license required for this 13-week assignment in Bay City, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking
