Job Summary
The ICU Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, high-acuity critical care in the ICU for a 13-week travel assignment. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, administering complex medications and treatments, operating advanced life-support equipment, maintaining patient safety and comfort, documenting assessments and responses, performing advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, central venous pressure, pulmonary artery catheters), and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Requires strong critical care skills, advanced clinical judgment, excellent communication, infection control, and commitment to patient safety and professional ethics in high-acuity settings. Essential skills include critical thinking, interpersonal communication, English proficiency, ability to follow instructions, and capability to manage equipment and tasks in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent ICU RN experience
- RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
