Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in condition. Administer complex medications and treatments, operate life-support equipment, and perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring including arterial lines and central venous pressure. Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately to ensure continuity of care. Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment and recovery expectations. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes while adhering to strict infection control protocols. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Ability to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Ability to push, pull, and bend
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel
- Ability to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Ability to work under close supervision occasionally
- Ability to work without assistance from other personnel
- Ability to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally
- Ability to maintain continuous concentration to detail

Desired Qualifications
