Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, administer complex medications, and operate advanced life support equipment in the intensive care unit. Interpret hemodynamic monitoring data, document interventions, and provide education to patients and families. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while adhering to strict infection control protocols and quality improvement initiatives. This 13-week travel assignment in Augusta, Georgia requires a current ICU RN with BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Ability to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Ability to push, pull, and bend
- Ability to grasp
- Ability to perform fine manipulation
- Ability to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Ability to work under close supervision occasionally
- Ability to work without assistance from other personnel
- Ability to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally
- Ability to maintain continuous concentration to detail

Desired Qualifications
