Job Summary
The ICU Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, critical care to patients in the ICU, including assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, operating life-support equipment, administering advanced treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Responsibilities include recognizing changes in patient condition, administering complex medications, documenting assessments and interventions, performing advanced hemodynamic monitoring, educating patients and families, ensuring infection control, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives in a high-acuity environment. Strong critical thinking, communication skills, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards are essential. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
