Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in condition. Administer complex medications and treatments while operating advanced life support equipment. Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring including arterial lines and central venous pressure. Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses to ensure continuity of care. Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment and recovery expectations. Adhere to strict infection control protocols and hospital safety guidelines. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking

- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
