Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in patient condition. Administer complex medications and treatments in accordance with approved critical care nursing techniques. Operate and manage advanced life support equipment, including arterial lines and central venous pressure monitoring. Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments while addressing physical and emotional needs. Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record to ensure continuity of care. Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations. Communicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care. Adhere to strict infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients and reduce risks. Perform other duties as assigned within scope.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking

- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
